Manhole Rehabilitation
Infiltration: Midwest Trenchless Technologies can stop infiltration into manholes using multiple techniques:
- Injection grout sealing
- Chemical resistant/fibrous cement coating
- Polyurea lining (partial or full structure)
- Combinations of all three
Chimneys: Midwest Trenchless Technologies can reconstruct existing chimneys or replace rings and castings. Midwest Trenchless Technologies has several means of stopping chimney infiltration:
- CRR (chimney repair with use of cement)
- Polyurea coating
- New rings
- New castings
- Rain disks
- Internal and external rubber seals
Floors: Midwest Trenchless Technologies can repair or fully replace existing manhole floors that have cracked or deteriorated.
Hydrogen Sulfide Protection: Via polyurea lining
Polyurea Lining: "The Ultimate in Manhole Liners"
- Polyurea offers complete gas protection by forming a completely seamless liner. When used in conjunction with a thin layer strong seal cement it can be used to greatly increase structural integrity. Polyurea has excellent adhesion on prepared surfaces while allowing up to 700% elasticity so it won’t crack from shifting like cement or epoxy.
- Typical lining completed is less than 5/8" thick.
